you will no longer have to chase people down until they click the registration link. Of course it will still be your task to find and select the best players from your nation.

Thanks! I was meaning both of these things actually, but it's still very appreciated to have at least one of them removed!

FRANCE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS

https://worldcup.cani-malati.com/index.php?area=results&season=72

Allez les Bleus! The French team have secured their World Cup victory tonight after yet another very strong performance over 30 points. France took a slow start to the season - some say this was just a matter of tactics - and peaked when it mattered the most.

For England it's the second lost final in a row, but they look set to console themselves with a victory in the league table. Germany, the defending champions, have secured 3rd place in their match against the Netherlands.

Your champions:
Emmanuel Manfre
Daniel Comalada
Sylvain Elsass
Guillaume Delamarre
Melissa Martin
Joel Trekane
Rudy Szafraniec
Farcy Génel
Laurent Quinet
Franck Nemmour
Jean-marc Boissinot
Pierre Lisbonis
Sébastien Cap

This result was achieved under the wings of the Team Captain, Sébastien Boulanger.

Félicitations!

Voting has begun

Voting for Team Captains for Season 73 and 74 has now started. In 16 countries, there is one candidate, meaning there isn't really a need to vote.

In Venezuela and Philippines there are two candidates, so let's get those campaigns on the road! :) Voting will be closed on Saturday 26 October at 12:00 (noon) CET.

Go to /ExternalLink.asp?destination=GPROWorldCup and check the Election page to vote.

If your country has no candidates, contact me if you want to become Team Captain. No need for an election - first come, first serve!

Congrats Seb - great campaign for you guys.

Should be 2 finals and 2 league victories in 2 seasons for us. Not too shabby :)

Congrats France!

@Jasper: minor usability tings, without any form of priority:
- it would be nice if the site retains which method was used to enter the WC site (www vs non-www), and format the links back to GPRO accordingly (so you wont run into a login wall when clicking them)
- somewhat on the same topic: it would be nice if historic results link to the historic results on GPRO (rather than the current season group standings)

I will think about it next season.

You missed the deadline to be a candidate in the regular way. But since Estonia has no candidates, it means you are now appointed as Estonian team captain straight away. Congratulations. :)
